What some people are saying about our high performance precision CNC machined billet aluminum Torque Damper for the Ford Focus ST….

Install was a breeze, took 10 mins on the lift. 1-2 Bang is gone, wheel hop is gone (41 degrees out right now). The car feels good, you can feel how much better it is to launch even shifting feels a bit smoother. The mount has almost no vibration which, for an upgraded mount is worth mentioning (I’m sure after it breaks in, it will get even better)
Great product guys, 10/10!

Guys I just want to say that I am a huge fan of COBB’s, if you don’t already know, however I want to say that this mount feels way better than the COBB one,and also looks much nicer!  when I received the mount my first impression was WOW LOL it is a really nice piece and the car drives and feels 100% better!! “Wheelhop” who? This car now feels like a “MANS” car  I just want to add that it is much less vibration then the “COBB RMM”

So I got the mount installed today. I was pleasantly surprised with the vibration at idle. It is almost non existent and I’m sure it will be even less once the bushings are broken in!
One thing that was a little unexpected was the vibration at right about 1000 – 1100 RPMs. Just after you give the car a little throttle and you pass 1000 RPMs there is a very noticeable vibration. It actually took me by surprise a little.

So I’ve had the mount installed for about a week now and it is really smoothing out! The vibes at idle are almost non-existent and the big vibe I was getting at 1000K RPMs has really calmed down. I’m very impressed with the mount and how quickly it has broken in.

Installation was a snap, the directions were simple with good pictures. Took me 45 minutes total and I consider myself at a basic level of mechanic ability. I was shocked at how much vibration was present after installation, but i read on one of the threads that it takes at least 300 miles to break in. I went out and flogged on my car for 20 minutes, and the “1-2 BANG” was completely gone and the hop greatly diminished. I am at 350 miles with the new mount, and the vibrations have decreased about 95% with a mild buzz present on 1st gear takeoffs at 1100-1400 rpm (which i can live with). I am pleased and feel the mount is braking in nicely and would probably be enhanced with a PSMM which I will get in the future. As for the OEM mount, what a limp piece of crap. I will not be doing the TSB, nobody is messing with my clutch set up. Thanks again Boomba!

Got mine installed today. Great looking part, quick install and the car feels amazing. One of the best mods I have ever done to a car, I cant believe how much better the car hooks up and I couldn’t be happier getting rid of the 1-2 thunk. Thanks Boomba Racing

I cant express how happy I am with the new RMM. I have put on about 300 miles and 1 autox event and it feels great to be able to shift and not have to worry about the motor trying to jump out of the car. Thanks again.

Well the very first day of owning the car i noticed the terrible wheel hop and 1-2 bang. Did a little researched on the matter and saw that it was caused by the RMM being a POS. Researched around on alternatives and saw that boomba’s mount replaced both pieces and what a fantastic buy. I posted up a thread and contacted Boomba about doing a group buy. The very next day they wrote me back saying they would love to and gave us all a great deal. I received my mount 3 days after the group buy ending. One of those being Thanksgiving so their shipping and turn around time was great. The product was packaged great and also got some stickers, a keychain, and a nice beanie. Went and installed it this morning. Boomba was kind enough to include instructions with pictures in COLOR which for me helps a lot. Install took me about 30-40 minutes. Dropped her down and took it for a spin. There is a noticeable vibrations when taking off in first gear right around 2000 rpm but it was something i was expecting and most people say it will almost all go away after a couple hundred miles. So after warming the car up i go to an empty street and do a couple launches. Almost all wheel hop it gone, I did get it to hop once but Im pretty sure the road was just a little to bumpy. Did a nice 1-2 shift and ZERO bang. Overall i couldn’t be any happier with the product and the customer service they provided all of us. Great product and definitely gets a BIG thumbs up from me. Thanks again boomba.

Finished up my last autoX event in G stock today, so I started installing all of my gear. I wanted to write up a few things about this motor mount because I,really like it. Some folks have mentioned vibrations. I have run a Cobb RMM and the Boombadoes not have near as bad of vibration. It does have some, but compared to others, it is mellow. The mount looks good out of the box, installs like all the others but it really doesn’t have bad vibrations. It does it job and puts a solid connection in place. Wheel hop is almost gone. There is no 1-2 bang or even thump. Now this is all on damp roads in about 45 degree weather. So lots of wheel spin, but not banging and very little hop if any. Overall, this is the best I’ve run and I don’t intend to look any further.
Great job Boomba Racing!

After considering both mounts, I went with Boomba. The price was right and after doing some online research they’ve had good reviews of their mounts for other vehicles.
Wheel hop is no longer a problem and torque steer has been significantly lessened as well. The “BANG” is gone, only a dull thud on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts as the mount absorbs the momentum of the motor as it unloads and loads during throttle down and up.
There will be some vibrations when compared to stock, but the stock mount was also completely inadequate. Additional vibration is noticeable, primarily at throttle tip-in and during part throttle, low-rpm acceleration. This vibration is a bit more noticeable with the AC on. I do not find the NVH to be troublesome, and the increase in performance is well worth it; I can actually drive the car now!
There are no annoying vibrations when cruising along at a constant speed in any gear, in case you are nervous about that. And I did have to re-learn how to drive the car after the install, without the motor flopping around I killed the car at the first stoplight. LOL!
I don’t have any experience with the CPE mount, and I’m sure it’s a fine product, but I do recommend the Boomba mount to those who ask.

comes with good instructions with pictures. Took me 45 minutes to put in with my basic level mechanic skills. The part appears to be much sturdier and stronger than the limp, pathetic OEM mount. Vibrations were a little intense at first, now I have 350 miles on this mount, and it has broken in nicely. Advice: Give it time to break in. As far as performance, the car has no more “1-2 bang” or wheel hop. I am glad I went aftermarket to resolve the issue. Boomba has just gained another customer. I would buy their products again.

From Boomba Racing directly it was $159.00 I think this is one of the most noticeable mods in my book.

Yea they are both really good however I noticed less wheel hop with the Boomba racing VS the COBB one I had.

Yea exactly and it looks much nicer in person. The CNC quality is to perfection, I also really like their red anodizing.

I am a COBB “fan boy” LOL and I still switched also I don’t regret it at all. I LOVE COBB but “Boomba Racing” has them with this mount
